The data thus recovered is displayed in hierarchical manner keeping all formats intact. After the preview user can save these files as required to the PST, EML or MSG format. The software allows exporting single or bulk mailbox folder from EDB to PST format. Kernel for Exchange Server Recovery is embedded with two recovery modes namely Standard and Advanced scan. These modes work to repair files that have gone corrupt due to checksum or dirty shut down errors. Users do not require any exchange services to perform the mentioned repair and advanced filters let them export specific items only during the recovery process. Users can split the output PST files based on options like Date Range, size, by folder etc. Other than allowing users to repair private, public or STM database files, the software lets the user specify few recovery options such as use of From field to avoid copying junk subject emails, use disk space if the EDB file is too large or select the EDB file version.
