Diafaan Message Server makes it easy to send and receive SMS messages from and to an SQL database. Simply attach a GSM modem to you server or set up a Clickatell SMS account, use a wizard to add the SMS gateway in the software and select the appropriate tables from your database or let Diafaan Message Server create a new database for you.
The light edition of Diafaan Message Server supports one SQL database and one GSM modem or Clickatell SMS account. This edition is ideal for basic applications where it is not necessary to have a backup gateway available. Apart from the limitations in the number of gateways and connectors this edition offers the same features as the other editions of Diafaan Message Server.
Diafaan Message Server is easy to use and offers robust features:
- Full Unicode support for international characters.
- Support for long SMS messages
- SQL databases with OleDB support like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or Microsoft Access
- Support for data messages with or without message header.
