Russian Language and Hollywood Movies in the HollywoodVocabulary Software! Download the program free and learn the Russian Language where and when you wish. This software is based on subtitles of Hollywood famous movies. We developed the program software which combines simplicity and convenience. This program is for home and office using. Our program consists of several levels. This flexibility lets use the system for all comers, regardless of the foreign language level.
During the program development we analyzed the whole material only from Hollywood pictures, and formed it on the frequency principle. We examined not only modern movies, but also pictures from 40-60s of the XXth century. The study material is divided into four topics: words, phrases, phrasal verbs and idioms. Each subject is located in a separate English-Russian Dictionary, which you can add to the system in order to make a library (data base for learning). Besides, the user can table the learning process, when and how the dictionaries will be changed, and on which subject will be worth to pay more attention.
Our program is aimed to overcome a language barrier and become proficient in skills and abilities to communicate in typical day-to-day situations. The cultural aspect plays an important role in learning a foreign language. We chose famous Hollywood movies as the base for our analysis. The cinema relates to the pop-culture, has the largest audience and influences on the common culture very much, including the language culture. Very often phrases from movies become "winged words" and are used in a spoken language.
